Gone Fishing for Sean 2024 REDFISH TOURNAMENT

– Live Weigh in – Live Release format
– Fish MUST be legal size 18-27 inches with pinched tail. All teams will be provided with an
official Gone Fishing for Sean 3″ tail pinch.
– Your submitted catch will be the total weight (pounds) of 2 (two) Redfish.
– At least 1 legal LIVE Redfish must be submitted to qualify for judging.
– Your catch will be verified on an official Check-It Stik at the weigh-in and with the official
Gone Fishing for Sean 3″ tail pinch.
– In the event of a tie, the team to check in first will win the tie breaker.
– MEASURE CORRECTLY, ILLEGAL FISH WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
– Mutilated, caged or penned fish will be disqualified.
– Only paid anglers may be on your boat during the tournament. Any other passengers may result
in disqualification.
– All anglers and teams must be registered by the start of Captains meeting.
– All Anglers must check in with the committee boat prior to start of tournament.
– All teams must depart from Goodland Boat Park.
– Once checked in, you must remain near the starting area until start time.
– Shot gun start will commence at safe light.
– Weigh In will begin at 1:00pm at Stan’s Idle Hour, Goodland FL.
– No fishing in cove of Stans.
– All boats must be visibly passing the point (Paradise Found Restaurant) entering the cove to
Stan’s Idle Hour.
– All boats must be in by 4:00pm. Late arrival will be disqualified.
– The Gone Fishing for Sean Tournament is not licensed to fish inside the Everglades National
Park.

– Rule violation protests must be filed with the tournament Rules Committee on the day of the

tournament. Protests must be submitted in writing and accompanied by $200 cash (non-
refundable). All decisions made by the Rules Committee are final and official.

– By taking part in the Gone Fishing for Sean Redfish Tournament you are allowing all photos
and video to be used for future promotions and/or social media by the Gone Fishing for Sean
Foundation.
– All registered anglers understand that they are fishing by their own will and will hold harmless
any affiliate of the Gone Fishing Foundation. All Anglers are expected to use safe fishing and
boating practices.
